As per the aspiring minds report on the study on employability of today’s graduates, there exists a huge gap between the abilities of today’s graduates and the expectation of the industry.The report claims that most of the graduates today cannot be deployed in the industry without extensive training.We have added a significant aspect to the curriculum delivery that will emphasize industry learning and exposure through various activities such as Guest Lectures/Sessions by senior people employed in the industry, immersion projects and internships.
As part of the two year program, students will have the opportunity to intern during their summer vacation (1 month internship) and once during their entire 4th semester (6 month internship).

A Brief Report on the International Business Expo 2K24
- The second year MBA students of Rathinam School of Business @ TIPS Global, Kovilpalayam, Coimbatore, organised ‘International Business Expo 2K24’ on Saturday, Nov 16, 2024.
- The objective of the event was to provide an opportunity for the students to explore the potential available in foreign markets and get inspired on planning for their own export ventures in the long term.
- The exhibition was inaugurated by Mr. Unnikrishnan Kottekat, Joint Director General, Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO).
- Stalls representing countries Japan, China, South Korea, US, Germany and India were established in this Expo and student-teams explained the respective foreign trade value, export/import policies, market needs and economic conditions corresponding to each country to all the visitors.
- In the Chief Guest Address, Mr. Unnikrishnan Kottekat highlighted how Government of India’s schemes help in the growth of country’s exports immensely.
- He added that Adaptability, Agility and Risk-taking are the prerequisites for succeeding in export business which are the inherent strengths of SMEs.
- He advised the MBA students to plan for their own SME ventures to focus on technology-related product exports which are 70% of global imports at present, E-commerce exports that is expected to grow to $300 billion for India by 2030 and also aim at foreign markets like Russia which is predicted to increase to an export value of $100 billion for India by 2030.
- Mr. Unnikrishnan emphasised on the need to study the specific foreign market’s economic conditions, political leadership and emerging geopolitical changes in order to find success in international business.
- He stressed that exporters need to manage several challenges that include war between countries, high tariffs planned by US - the world’s largest importer, non-tariffs of European Union and so on.

75 Years Adoption of the Indian Constitution
A special Guest Lecture on the theme “Adoption of the Indian Constitution” was successfully conducted on 20th August 2025. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff.
The session was delivered by Prof. Anand Prakash Mishra, Professor of Practice & Vice Dean, Jindal Global Law School; Director of Law Admissions, O.P. Jindal Global University; and Senior Fellow at the International Institute of Higher Education Research & Capacity Building (IIHED). Prof.Anand Prakash Mishra is a distinguished legal academician with rich educational credentials including BA Hons. (Patna), LLB (Delhi), and LLM (Delhi), and over two decades of experience in law and higher education.
During his insightful lecture, Prof. Anand Prakash Mishra shed light on the historical journey of the Indian Constitution, beginning with the Constituent Assembly debates and leading to its formal adoption in 1950. He emphasized the vision of the framers, the guiding principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity, and the continuing relevance of these constitutional ideals in contemporary governance.
The session was highly interactive, with students raising thought-provoking questions about constitutional interpretation, challenges in implementation, and the evolving role of constitutional values in India’s democracy. Prof. Anand Prakash Mishra’s responses provided both clarity and inspiration, making the session memorable for all attendees.
